In therapy, you will get a chance to make sense of the past experiences and difficult emotions; explore unhelpful patterns and let go of things that keep you stuck to make space to reach your potential in life. I work with such problems as high levels of stress, difficult life transitions, immigration, interpersonal conflicts, dissatisfaction with life, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Chronic pain, and other.

On-going check-ins with parents.

Life transitions can be quite painful, especially for our kids. In addition to navigating academic and social challenges, children and adolescents go through major transitions physically, biologically, and psychologically which might leave them feeling inadequate, lonely and isolated. If your child is acting out or picking fights, they are not a bad child, they might not have better ways at the moment to express what’s going on for them internally. Individual therapy and check-ins with parents can help children learn to find safe effective ways to express themselves, improve their relationships with families and peers. I am trained in play therapy and can find a way to connect even with children who “just don’t want to engage”.

Couples therapy and family therapy

I also work with multi-cultural couples and families.
